SO WHO IS STEVE VEALS?

I'm a Renaissance man, a Jack-of-all-trades. It's difficult to describe myself with one sole title. I work well with anyone and everyone. You could say I take pride in my life experiences and they have definitely taught me a lot about what it means to get only one reputation. Because that's all you have at the end of the day: Just one chance. That's why I burn the midnight oil, keep my nose to the grindstone, and speak up only when it's my turn to speak. I'm a perfectionist that has never thrown in the towel. I enjoy working extremely hard for the right people and I know that since you've taken the time to read this, we are going to get along just fine.

Before I was blessed to have traveled all over the world, there was just me, myself, and a childhood in New Mexico. That rough around-the-edge place taught me to make lemons into lemonade. And well, to see the good in the occasional sea of bad while at the same time, not being afraid to strike out for foreign lands.

I graduated high school in Santa Rosa, Argentina and continued my various travels around South America. When I wasn’t roaming, I was working as a Hotshot firefighter. Those years of backbreaking work taught me attention to detail, how to handle stressful situations, and not to forget to laugh a little a long the way.

Long after I left the smoke and dust behind, I moved back to the west to work as a freelance photographer and videographer shooting sports and weddings mostly. With the freelance passion still burning bright, I started to work for OtterBox and LifeProof on a few side projects and I soon found out that I wanted to join this incredible team of passionate, kindred spirits. 7 years later, I was back on the open market, ready for freelance 2.0.
